Scope
of Research:
- Measurement
of residual stresses and strains by neutron diffraction method to pursue
basic science in welding, foundry and materials shaping, especially
in metals and alloys.
- Small
angle x-ray and neutron scattering study of phase transformation kinetics
in alloys, characterization of precipitate particles and cavities in
metals and ceramics, carbon fibers, Buckyballs, nanocrystalline materials.
