Scope
of Research:
- Constructed
phase diagrams for functional ceramic systems by means of neutron and
x-ray powder diffraction
- Single
crystal growth and solid state synthesis of powder samples of the Ba6-3xLn8+2xTi18O54
(Ln = La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, and Gd) solid solution. Performed single
crystal x-ray diffraction and powder (Rietveld) structural refinements
and related structural elements (e.g., polyhedral tilting) to properties.
