Thermal transport properties of solids; advanced infrared imaging and electrical properties of solids.

Scope of Research:

  • Develop techniques to measure thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity of solids and molten materials.
  • Infrared imaging: thermography, NDE of materials, thermal diffusivity mapping of composites.
  • Electrical properties of ceramics; grain boundary thermal and electrical transport studies.
